Description

Maximum Hardness and Pop

The KR3 Northern Maple I13 is a professional wood baseball bat crafted from premium Northern Maple sourced from North American forests.

Each bat is produced from hand-split, premium-quality maple stock, carefully sorted and graded to ensure straight grain and maximum durability.

The billets are vacuum dried and turned at low speeds, improving hardness and performance while preserving the natural strength of the wood.

Double Bone Rubbed Process

KR3 Northern Maple bats undergo the proprietary Double Bone Rubbed process, which increases the hardness of the hitting surface by 7–10%.

This process:

  • hardens the barrel surface
  • improves bat “pop”
  • increases hitting distance
  • enhances durability

Each bat is also hand sanded, ensuring perfect balance and professional finish.

I13 Profile – Long Barrel and Extended Sweet Spot

The I13 pattern is designed for hitters who want maximum barrel length and extended sweet spot.

Key characteristics include:

  • tapered knob
  • thin handle (slightly thickened for durability)
  • long, large barrel
  • extended sweet spot

This profile is particularly popular among gap-to-gap hitters and players seeking extra barrel length for powerful contact.

Why Maple?

Maple bats are widely used by professional players because they:

  • are harder than ash
  • flex less on impact
  • transfer more energy to the ball

This results in greater hitting distance and stronger contact.
